Basic Information
The General Association of Regular Baptist Churches grew out of the Baptist Bible Union created by fundamentalist members of the Northern Baptist Convention in 1922. Despaired of turning the Convention from its liberalizing tendencies, many members of the union left the convention in 1932 to form the GARBC.
