The collection of round 1 of the religion and State (RAS) dataset was supported by the Israel Science Foundation (Grant 896/00) and the Sara and Simha Lainer Chair in Democracy and Civility. Round 2 is being supported by the John Templeton Foundation as part of its grant funding the Association of Religion Data Archives."
