The Religion & Politics Tracking Poll was conducted by Public Religion Research Institute to examine attitudes on breaking news and emerging issues at the intersection of religion and politics. This survey examined public attitudes toward holidays in December. Questions explored the celebration of Christmas, participation in Christmas traditions, as well as questions about Christmas and holiday gifts.

- Collection Procedures
- The survey was designed and conducted by Public Religion Research Institute. Results of the survey were based on bilingual (Spanish and English) RDD telephone interviews conducted between Dec. 4-12, 2013 by professional interviewers under the direction of Social Science Research Solutions (SSRS).
- Sampling Procedures
- Interviews were conducted among a random sample of 1,056 adults, 18 years of age or older in the continental United States (433 respondents were interviewed on a cell phone).
