This additive scale was created in 1994 as part of a self-administered survey for a Master's thesis. It is based on the work of Erving Goffman.
This scale wasn't a previously established scale, but was created when the survey was created (PI: Kimberly A. Mahaffy, Associate Professor and Director of Latino Studies, Millersville University).
Note: This dataset includes a variable that sums the included items (97; TOTAMBIV).
