Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires. They were sent by mail to the parish council, and a few members of the parish council were asked to complete the questionnaire.Sampling Procedures
In 2003, there were 1,579 Catholic parishes in the Netherlands. This study examines a representative sample of 215 parishes, 103 of which responded (47.9% response rate).Principal Investigators
