How to get the information you want:
- The NCS variables are grouped into categories: 1) General Information, 2)
Denomination and Other Affiliation, 3) Building, 4) Size, 5) Staff, 6)
Worship Services, 7) Technology, 8) Youth and Religious Education, 9) Groups, Classes, &
Events, 10) Social Services, 11) Visiting Speakers, 12) Member Recruitment,
13) Finances, 14) Social Composition, 15) Governance, 16) Culture and
Theology, 17) Conflict, 18) Community Characteristics, and 19)
Miscellaneous.
- Choose the questions (variables) you want to have displayed along the left side (vertical axis) and across the top (horizontal axis) of the table. You may choose only one variable for each axis.
- Click on the "Create Table" button. This will create a table displaying a comparison of the two questions with the number and percentage of responses for each possible answer. Associations that are statistically significant using this tool's calculator may not remain so under a more conservative approach that assumes more variance in the survey weights.
